Nova Scotia is a location in Dustborn. It is the destination of Pax because it is a safe haven for Anomals, and the base of operations for the Weave resistance, which seeks the power of Protolanguage in order to fight against the tyranny of the American Republic and Pacifica. The objective of the game is to transport top secret Protolanguage data from Pacifica to Nova Scotia, allowing the latter country to keep up in the Protolanguage arms race.

In the Dustborn timeline, it is not clear how the founding of Justice affected Nova Scotia, or if Nova Scotia is still a province of Canada. All that's known is that this location is the Weave's primary base of operations, to the point where the Weave and Nova Scotia are used interchangeably whenever the crew discusses them. This suggests the Weave has significant political influence in Nova Scotia, which is why this location is considered a safe haven for Anomals, who are persecuted in most other regions in North America. Due to restrictions on traveling in the American Republic, the primary way to travel into Nova Scotia is by having a Weave boat extract refugees at Schoodic Point, Maine.
In the Librarian Coda, Pax will remain in Nova Scotia in order to help the Weave research Protolanguage. Otherwise, she will use Nova Scotia as a means to move to Europe in the Expat Coda or will refrain from taking the boat to Nova Scotia in the Ronin Coda. If both the Librarian and Maybe Someday Codas are chosen, Noam will join Pax in Nova Scotia and participate in the Weave's research. If the player has the Expat and Maybe Someday Codas, Noam will stay in Nova Scotia to wait for Pax to return from Europe. In the Optimist Coda, Eli, Ophelia, and Girl will stay in Nova Scotia in the hopes that that Weave can safely remove Ophelia's powers.
