As you may know, the only administrator of this wiki, JustLeafy, is blocked on Fandom and has not edited the wiki in a year.
The regular attacks on the wiki coming from platforms like Kiwi Farms had to be contained by the global Fandom staff. I reported many cases of vandalism myself before Bugfagged joined the efforts.
One of the Fandom SOAPs has repeatedly suggested that I adopt the wiki, presumably to make it easier to deal with the vandalism without having to resort to the global Fandom staff every time.
Though being a very experienced wiki editor with thousands of edits and managing experience on a big wiki, I was not eager to carry the burden and I certainly didn't meet the requirement of having edited the wiki for seven consecutive days.
I forwarded the suggestion of adoption to the other Dustborn players on Discord back in late August, however, there has been no reaction. On October 12, I raised the issue again but OliviaStarStuff indicated not being ready to invest in that, while everyone else hasn't reacted. On October 19, I brought up the matter in a DM with Bugfragged but there's been no reaction to that particular message.
Despite being as reluctant to adopt as everybody else, I was eventually convinced to try and I worked to meet the criteria. At the end of the day, even if I'm not always active, it's still better than having no admin, right?
My immediate goals include improving the wiki front page (something I previously had to do via a Fandom support ticket), the navigation bar, and the mobile front page, which still says the game is upcoming. Being a Dustborn wiki administrator would also allow me to immediately take action against vandalism when I see it.
Let me know if there are any objections or alternative ideas.
